This is on the Nvidia Shield. Never had this problem on nexus player or Sony TV.

Turned wifi on and off. Reset the shield. No idea what the problem is.

Clrared cache and data. Still not working.

I always have this problem on my nexus player, literally just got it, I always just reboot and it installs fine after a fresh startup, it's super irritating.

I have the same problem with chrome that is sideloaded on my shield. Chrome would always update fine in the play store before but now it loops when downloading it.

I had similar problem on nexus player where none of the installed apps were updating and new ones were not installing. Tried quite a few things eventually had to do a factory reset to fix it.
