Xiaomi said they won't release the Mi Laser Projector with Android TV. They just flashed Android TV on the projector for MWC 2018 only because their Mi-TV Platform didn't had any European apps.
It's even written on the wall that it will come with 'Mi-TV Platform'

Any idea on how it was hacked? Would you recommend using the Nvidia Shield in addition for flawless Netflix playback? Really struggling to get rid of the existing MIUI TV.
