I bought a Mi Box 3 (International Version), one similar to this (but not from Geekbuying): https://www.geekbuying.com/item/Original-XIAOMI-Mi-Box-3S-4K-HDR-Android-Media-Player-374265.html

Now the issue I'm having is that the box constantly restarts itself when going through the set up screen (it will either optimize some of the apps or all of them before restarting).

I have tried to restore to factory settings, which does not fix the problem. Initially, the MiBox wasn't starting at all, which I was able to correct by buying a new adaptor.

Does anyone here have any suggestions of how I could fix this? Or has experienced a similar issue?

I have also tried to contact their support team and because I bought the item in Canada, I am being referred to their Global Service e-mail which has not responded to any of my requests.
