Can't install some apps in my Mi Box

I can't install some apps in my android TV. I can open APKs but the install button is greyed out. I've been looking for some solution for this but some that I've found are about disabling screen overlay which I don't have, unless Mi box has built-in one that I cannot find. I've been trying to install Showbox and Yesplayer but install button is greyed out. I even tried installing Kodi from aptoide but it has the same problem while I can install Kodi from playstore. So anyone had the same problem or any ideas at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

With MM build 1901, you can overcome this glitch by quickly toggling the power button

Also worked out by installing through es file explorer, when you get to the greyed out install issue, press home and reopen es file explorer.

I think you are using screen filtering apps like Twilight, f.lux, CF.lumen and bluelight filter. Try to force stop/uninstall/disable the screen filtering app and it will work again.
