View photos in 4K (slideshow) ?

by emptythebonesofyou

Hi

I don't have a REAL android TV, sorry but i don't know where to post... I have one of these android reskinned boxes but it works in 4K 60 fps. I was wondering if there was an app that allowed me to view pictures in TRUE 4K resolution (in a slideshow) ? I have the google photo app but it looks like 1080p, not 4K. (My pictures are 5184x3456, shot with a canon 750d) any idea ?

thanks

Sorry, but this subreddit is for official AndroidTV boxes which run a modified version of android and so most people here won’t be able to help you. Check out xda forums and freaktab forums. Both have active forums for generic android boxes. Good luck!

I have a UHD / 4k TCL TV and it too amazes me that the screen saver for the TV doesn't display 4k images by default (or even by configuration)! I mean, it can display 30 fps at 4k, is it so much to ask to display 1 fps?
