Any android tv’s with a headphone jack in the remote?

by Sternrets

I’ve been using my Xbox One for both gaming and Netflix, however I am building a PC for gaming, so I’m planning to sell it. Since my TV has no native Smart TV support, I need a Android TV box, or stick or whatever, but I do plan to use my Logitech G633 headphone for said TV and am in need for a 3.55mm headphone jack inside the remote, if it was in the box itself, it wouldn’t work considering it’ll be placed behind the TV. Third party remotes are fine unless they’re ridicilously expensive.

Thanks.

Edit 1: Nvidia shield is way too pricey for me, for the people reccomending that.

I can give it a try, I have an Xbox one controller I can link to the Shield real quick and see, but I don’t remember seeing anywhere that it will work.

NVIDIA Shield controller pad thing has a headphone jack. I’ve used it a few times, maybe it’s just mine but the audio quality is sort of wonky though, also could be my limited use coupled with using super cheap headphones the only times I’ve tried it.

How about something like this? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KXYXXK2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_ep_dp_w8LWAbH703BJB

Turn the 3.5mm headphones into Bluetooth.

Well you can go for a pair of Bluetooth earphones/headphones, totally depends upon your budget. From $20-$200.

Or, if you prefer your current earphones/headphones, then you can purchase a device like Sony SBH-20/24. It's a Bluetooth receiver and you can connect your earphones into it for private listening.

Mele F10 Pro is a USB wireless remote that has the headphone jack for the functionality you want. You can use it with any Android TV...I have personally tried mine with Nexus Player and Shield TV.

If you go with the more expensive way and get the 500gb nvidia shield tv pro, then you get the old rechargeable remote that has 3,55mm port on it.

I have a third party rii mini i25a remote hooked up to my Android box. It has a headphone jack, microphone, full keyboard, can learn a few IR controls, and it's an air mouse. Mines held up for at least 2 and a 1/2 years. There could be a newer model. With cost you do have to shop around as prices seem to vary by over 100%, I paid 27 USD and we'll worth it.

The original Nvidia shield remote has the 3.5 jack

I'd get a Shield TV and purchase the gen 1 remote separate. It has built in 3.5 Jack if you really wanted to use wired headphones. However, I'm much happier after getting a good pair of BT headphones. I bought this pair and love them. Crazy battery life. Goes days before needing charged and i use them 2 to 3 hrs /day.

If you want a headphone jack for private listening it's either an NVIDIA Shield TV or a Roku.
