I recently updated my 2015 kd65xd8599 to the 7.0 nougat update. For some reason when trying to install a third party application the "install" button is greyed out. I have the allow unknown sources option enabled but still no such luck. I didn't have this issue with the previous 6.0 updates anyone know what might be causing this?
Generic solution for this issue is to quickly toggle a button on your remote.
I recently had similar problem on Mi box sideloading using esexplorer. The solution for me was to press the button on my remote to get to the main screen, and then go back to esexplorer. The install button was then available.
Could someone help i have the same problem with my philips andriod tv but tried everything that has been advised on here...I contacted philips and they said all third party installations have been disabled on all andriod tv's...to prevent them damaging the tv...is there any other solution
It’s like this on my X850E for some apps as well, but not all. I’m thinking permissions related?
