Any options or alternatives for Skype

Hey all. I'm considering a shield TV or a minix u9-h. Ideally I would like the shield however from my understanding Skype with a webcam does not work. It does with the Minix (standard Android). Does anyone know if Viber or whatapp works with Android TV?

Did you try discord? You can video chat with that now.

There is an Android TV app called Trueconf I have tried using. It works on both Shield and Mibox (the ones I have tested). There is a mobile version, but the desktop version you need to actually download it.
