Mi box - Google cast

Hi, has anybody had problems with Google cast on their mi box? I have tried factory reset and and updating the apps but my phone still will not cast. Any ideas?

I bought the International 4k box running Android TV 6.0

Mine was doing this. Had to turn it on and off a few times before it would work again. Also reset the device from which I was casting.

Sorry for hijacking, hadnt had this problem but:

whenver I tried Google Cast from my PC or phone it's really choppy/lagging on the TV screen. For instance when watching football, you'll see shadows where the players stood before.

Anyone else having these issues?

try updating/downgrading google cast receiver

I have this problem. It has never been 100% stable, but now it never seems to work.

I have not done factory reset, but have tried uninstalling updates, deleting cache, data for the cast receiver app, etc.

I had issues with my mi box casting from day one. I moved and all the sudden it works like a champ. The only difference I know of is the my internet provider. I went from spectrum to Google fiber.

I will say at my old place, the power outlets weren't very good so if the wifi wasn't the issue then it could have been the power source.

Yep I had loads of problems. Uninstalling Google Cast updates fixed the problem.
