I recently bought a Mi Box for a mate and set it up for him. He's lives quite far away and I now need to update some settings for the IPTV app he's using. It would be a nightmare to explain it to him over the phone. Are there any Remote Access apps that I could use on android TV, similar to Teamviewer for Windows that would let me log in to his Mi Box and quickly make the necessary changes?

There's a Teamviewer version for Android TV because on my Philips's TV there was one.
I've wanted a way to do this too for family. I tell them if they mail it to me and pay for return shipping, I'll fix their boxes. You'd be surprised how inexpensive a little streaming box is to mail. I put it in a padded bubble envelope and mail at post office. Costs about 5 dollars to mail the fire TV box across country. Mark the envelope "fragile" with a sharpie.
They send box only and i use my own cord and remote to save in shipping cost since it'll weigh more to include it.

I'm also interested in finding a way but I don't think there is any easy solution. The best I could find was actually Teamviewer, but you can't actually control anything. You can connect in and see the screen but can't select anything. If you click on the screen, it shows up on their end where to press, so you will still have to talk them through it but at least you can see what they see. I've had fund trying to troubleshoot with my 70 year old dad!
