CBSNEWS black screen only audio??

Question

Launch cbsnews and it shows only a black screen with the audio playing. Its the only app that does this and I've had it before and it went away by itself. This is affecting two nexus players.

Tried restarting the device
Reinstalled app / cleared cache

It has been two days like this so perhaps I have to wait it out??

You can use the Pluto TV app to watch the live stream of CBSN and other channels in HD.

The app updated for me over the weekend and everything was back to normal.

I'm seeing the same issue on my Firestick even after a full factory format. Another thing I noticed, if I keep listening to the audio eventually (less than 5 minutes in) it cuts out as well.
