Download the Google home app and hit cast screen.
Windows 10 has this baked in. You can cast your desktop to Miracast receivers.
I use an app called "Xplayer". It's free on the store. Casts to my Mi Box with no issues. No watermarks either.
Do you have MiBox model MDZ-16-AB? This device has native Chromecast. The other 3 boxes that are mistakenly described as MiBox 3 are not official AndroidTV boxes.
You can look at an apk called HAPPYCAST.APK which facilitates miracast feature. Needs to reside on phone and your tv box
