Does anyone know of a decent android tv box running Android Oreo?

Why do you absolutely need Oreo right now? Is there some new feature that makes streaming video remarkably better?
Why do you need Oreo on Android TV?
There are tons of new UI and security features that are missing in 6&7. And won’t it be nice to have Oreo on on our tv before P comes out in few weeks?
The only reason why I would like to have Oreo at the moment is more Picture-In-Picture support. Developers have vastly ignored it on the TV platform but have started embracing it on the tablet/phone platform. Why developers have gone this way boggles me though...
The new UX for the TV platform seems... weird. It would take getting used to, and I don't know if I will like it.
I have an old Galaxy S4 and Oreo has it running faster than ever. If Oreo can do this for AndroidTV then I think people here would be signing a different tune.
The Oreo interface is awful stay on Nougat!
Do we blame google or oems and developers for the slow pace of android adoption?
I’m not a software geek but I like to know why it’s so hard to implement android versions. For example, why would a developer or manufacturer be implementing android 6/7 now when 8 has been out for a year.
It’s like making a window vista can only computer in 2018.
The NShield is way too expensive in the configuration I would like. I’ll shop other options or just stick to Apple TV 4K and Xbox one S.
Right now, your only option is the Nexus Player (and I wouldn't recommend buying it, since the hardware is aging and it's confirmed that Oreo is the last version it will ever get). There is something else working its way through FCC approval, but it won't be available for a couple of months.
