You don't have an app that can do this : File explore

Hi I have been trying to find a solution to this issue with no luck. I have a xiomi mi box and I am trying to load a text file containing known ad servers to an open source ad-block app.

When I click import it says "You don't have an app that can do this". I am trying to set a default file manager to remedy this issue but so far I have been unable to do so. Help appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Edit: I should add that the app I am trying to use to block the ads is called DNS66 not sure if there is an alternative.

Do you have ES File manager? Pretty sure it's got a text reader built in. Otherwise, grab a text reader you trust.

X-plore is the best AndroidTV browser. Works natively and even has a WiFi server option to upload/download from PC, etc

Solid Explorer just updated on my phone and said they added Android TV support. I'm not at my Android TV to check but Solid is the best Explorer.

On that subject I actually just keep an old version of ES around and install from apk, that said I tried the new version and X-plore with same results.

On my phone I absolutely hated ES until my friend gave me the pro version which is damn good. Day and night difference.
