PSA: New AndroidTV launch in India

by GravityDead

TCL is launching a new 55" 4K HDR AndroidTV in India at very attractive pricing, Rs. 46,000 ($700 approx). https://www.flipkart.com/iffalcon-k2a-139-7cm-55-inch-ultra-hd-4k-led-smart-tv/p/itmf3mcfffcsyxsb

The product page doesn't have information on HDCP level and HDR version yet.

Netflix support is also present and has a shortcut key in remote itself. :)

By the way, does anyone know if this TV was released somewhere else around the globe, may with a different name? I am interested in seeing a review of the display.

MiTV 4 55" has a worthy contender now :) especially since getting a MiTV is IMPOSSIBLE due to their pathetic way of promoting the products, a.k.a fake flash sales.

That's a new brand. A projector is worth it these days. It needs the space for setup but if you have the space and can spend some few bucks for a screen or DIY, it's really worth it.

4k PJ will be mainstream in 6 months period or so. At the cost of 1080p

Just wonder if that K2A use same chipset Mediatek MT5891 like other TCL Android TV series (X2, C2, P20...).

And it turned out the Flipkart TCL flash sale is also a big joke.

This may be the rebranded P6 based model. Android TV is kind of dead though. I have the Shield and it is still on 7.1. I will be getting this TCL for my parents in India. Flipkart hopefully has more than 1 when it goes on sale.

That Mi TV flash sale is a joke.
