I finally pulled the trigger on updating it. The web wrapper has come a long way in responsiveness and features.

I was having a lot of trouble getting live videos to play reliably in the old version of the app, so I decided it was time to get it go.

I guess everything Google makes is a web wrapper at this point isn't it? They control everything from their side anyway.

It now finally appears to support YouTube Red through brand accounts.

It's fine, no noticeable changes.

I wonder why https://youtube.com/tv isn't updated like the android tv version? Isn't the update streamline across all platforms?

It seems fine to me. No issues with it... I just still really want scrolling titles. 😂
