The latest hdhomerun android app is buggy, especially with sound. I've reverted to the previous version which ran well

I have the exact same issue on the shield, but only on live channels

I thought it was just me! I'm glad i'm not the only one as I thought it was could of been something wrong with my outdoor Ethernet cables. Looks like i'l have to downgrade the app.

Pretty much the only issue I get is interference in reception and lag on sound. Reception issues are similar to what you describe. Sound issues are usually resolved by pausing or switching to another channel and back.

-If you run the HDHomeRun software on your Windows box, do the channels your watching have all green for signal strength?

-do speed tests from all of your devices look about the same?

-if your router has the ability, can you give the highest priority to your HDHomeRun & Nvidia Shield to see if that works?

-are the same problems replicated using the Live Channels app?

If all of these have been tried & failed, I'd get with HDHomeRun tech support.
