Prime Now 3.0.223.23841 for Android TV

by RainGater

Anyone has the Prime Now 3.0.223.23841 apk for Android TV? Specifically, for Mi Box or Google Nexus Player?

It's really sick to keep hunting for these latest versions as Amazon and Directv Now doesn't want to support Android TV although xda'ers are able to modify it to play for the TV! We, the customers, have to keep hunting for these versions and wonder when it's going to stop... SMH!

Should see if those with the Oreo Mi Box can get Prime. If they can't, it's Amazon. Maybe waiting for Shield paid exclusivity to end, or just fighting with Google.

Won't work never has. Amazon has deals with particular companies and they work together to make it work. That's why on the Shield, Amazon Video is a system app not available on the Play Store.

I'm not expecting it to ever stop wit Amazon. If I want to use their service I need to get the tools necessary to do so. Not many people are going to cancel Amazon Prime because the video part is not available on Android TV.

DTVN is another thing. It makes no sense for them not to be on every platform Android TV included.

The 'Amazon Prime Video for Android TV' which is on the Play Store is currently on version 4.5.17. It's for Sony Bravia devices (and is different from the Nvidia SHIELD version) but I can't seem to find the apk anywhere.
