Which Android TV device? If its a TV it probably (very sure) only 100 Mbit/s LAN port. Sony is doing this (even the $4000 OLED) and LG is doing this, as well as Samsung.
I had the same issue last year when I got my box....you might not believe it, but after weeks of searching for an answer it was this simple...My ethernet patch cable was not rated for over 100mb! Make sure your cable can handle the speed.
I mean I can understand being annoyed, but what exactly do you need >100mbps for on android TV? You can typically do 4K streaming with 20-25mbps without any problems.
All the components of your network must be gigabit in order to get higher speeds than 100Mbps. Even so 100Mbps is fast enough to do every conceivable task. Screen mirroring will be a product of the video card in your computer.
