Just bought a Sony x900e and I can't get Hulu to load more than a couple of episodes of any show without getting this error . Interestingly, I have 2 Nexus Players and they do the same thing. I intially thought it was just a Nexus Player problem (it is older hardware now), and was really hoping the TV would be free of the issue, but nope. It actually seems worse! I have outstanding internet speeds , the TV is hardwired to my main Google WiFi puck. I also use the Google WiFi software to prioritize any of my streaming devices. This has also been a problem with two different ISPs (Cox 300 mbps service and now AT&T Fiber). Netflix, Amazon, Google Play Movies all load 4k content instantly and reliably, it is literally only Hulu on Android TV devices (same behavior is true for my Nexus Players). I've read that Hulu doesn't tend to the Android TV app because of a perceived lack of users. I was planning on buying a Nvidia Shield, but if this is true for all Android TV devices, I'll have to look elsewhere. I've considered buying a Roku just to see if it is any different. Anyone else having this problem?
Additional info: I've tried all the usual problem solving tricks, uninstalling/reinstalling, clearing app cache (seems to help, but very briefly), reinitializing the app via website, factory resetting devices, chatting with Hulu support, etc. Nothing helps! Just wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions/insight. Thanks in advance!
