Wish there were a way to like, manually flash Oreo.
My Mi Box just kinda feels like garbage lately. Hoping Oreo fixes some of it. Like HDMI CEC broke for some reason, casting randomly doesn't work...
What about the Nvidia Shield? I have two of these and would love to see this update.
I'd be happy if someone would post the image so we could manually flash it like Nougat. I'd never buy a Xiaomi product again. Wish Google would actually support their products and make a Pixel Player.
Here we are hoping for Android 8.0 when Android 9.0 is already in beta and will be out in 3-4 months.

This is why a lot of the latest mobile devices are going to get access to an Android P Beta at the same time as the Pixel range.
Is there a way to enroll in the Beta program? I'm curious as to what Oreo would be like on the Mi Box
With the Nexus phones it was as simple as toggling a setting on a site somewhere, but I haven't found such a method for the Mi Box yet (if it even exists)
