I do not recommend buying a TV with the smart features as a consideration. Buy a TV with only picture quality in mind, and connect a separate Shield or Mi Box via HDMI. This will give you a better long term experience.
I had a lower end 4k tcl and returned it. Couldn't get the colors anywhere near right.
