hi guys, did someone managed how to get BBC iPlayer (beta) app as apk app? i found there is beta program, and i got access, but i didnt found any apk version. i'd like to try some new features like 4k and running it in time for World Cup.

I believe there are only apps for the TV's with built in Android TV and the Shield. Nothing for other boxes.

BBC aren't streaming the World Cup in 4k.
Has anyone tried extracting the FireTV android app for iPlayer.
Its a lot more big screen TV friendly than the Play store generic android.
The BBC iPlayer app for the Shield has an option in the settings to switch between regular iPlayer and iPlayer Beta.
I have that enabled but I do not see any 4K content anywhere.
