Using a Shield. I noticed from just random testing, Stranger Things and 13 Reasons Why both have the HDR flag in Netflix, but when played they do not kick the TV into HDR mode. Other shows, like say Altered Carbon, do turn on HDR mode. I also tested in Amazon, and every show there seems to be working. Ive tried restarting the Shield and TV but no change. Is this a Netflix issue, a Shield issue, or my TV?
Are you watching episodes from season 1 of those shows, or season 2? I know for a fact only season 2 of Stranger Things is available in HDR, season 1 is only 4K SDR, and I believe 13 reasons why is the same.
