I use sandisk cruzer fit cz43 128gb usb 3.1 one, just plug and forget

i have the older sandisk extreme (3.0 model) it doesn't get noticeably hot. imagine the current 3.1 model is similar.

If you've got a model with an SD card reader, it generally seems like the best option.
