Biggest complaint, why are none of the available app channels "your subscriptions". YouTube app, Popular Right Now - UK & IWD (whatever that is). Nothing about my subscriptions. I've turned everything off except apps, and even then I want the all apps view, not one line horizontal scrolling.
Thus far, this update is tits.
From what I can see based on the forums, this is still a preview build for preview testers (and officially, supposed to be confidential).
Has anyone not in the preview group received the update?
Anyone have a VIZIO M60-C3 60-Inch 4K TV? Every time the Shield gets an OTA I get excited that this may be the build, finally, after 3 years, that fixes the problems with this TV. The Shield and this TV have issues where at times after waking from sleep the TV will flicker or have static lines all through the display. It happens probably one to two times per week. A reboot fixes it. At one point Nvidia did improve the problem by adding the ability to not use 60hz as the input frequency. I believe using the now recommended 59.xx hz has made it much, much better, but the problem still happens. Thanks.

Hey fellow Mi Box owners, remember when this shitty Chinese company Xiaomi was going to update us for Nougat? Remember when they were going to update us for Oreo? Oh right, now Android P is almost out and still nothing, not even a security update.
Finally got the update. I had been keeping an open mind and trying not to be biased either way about the new leanback launcher. I love it, it's an upgrade in every regard.

The answer is probably an obvious "not yet", but I thought both Live Channels was supposed to get a dedicated channel? Anyone get that working?
Kodi has a channel but only a blank suggestions card -- I wonder if there's a way to tie it to a specific playlist or widget?
Also the Play Next channel is bare even after playing some Netflix shows and YouTube videos -- disappointing experience thus far, unless I'm missing an option I was supposed to enable.
I added apps to my favorites list but I can't find a way to remove them? Anyone know how to do that?

Still didn't fix the wonky overlay that comes up on the bottom of the screen when moving tiles, for me at least.
But it only appears then & I use my air mouse to hit the buttons, because the d-pad then ceases to function on that menu, it's completely fine otherwise..?
Just installed it. Youtube app won't boot. Every restart of the system takes ages to take mento the dashboard after the Android logo has finished its animation and I get a black screen in the meantime. Also, if snoozed, the home button on the Harmony remote won't wake the device. Is it possible to rollback? This is a huge disaster. And I'm not even talking about the horrendous new design
I got it also. I signed up for the preview the day 7.0 was announced, so I'm assuming this is round two and not the general release.
Unrelated: as a dev, who pushes to production on a Sunday? Massive balls.
