Does anyone have any suggestions for getting a way to have IPTV channels such as CNN, Discovery, Nat Geo etc to appear in the Live Channels guide on Android Tv. I know obviously you need to find a source of these channels using something like m3u lists, but not sure of where to find this and to make them work natively in Live Channels.
use either tvirl or streamin apps. first one is free but doesn't have auto-update, second one is not free, but has autoupdate and a DVR version in beta

Is there a way to show top channels in the recommended tab? Or perhaps create another tab with 10 of the watched channels?
Doesn't work for Live channels, but you can get those channels on AndroidTV with PS Vue, YouTube TV and SlingTV.
