You need the chrome browser, but don't know if it can cast the whole screen on mac like on windows and not just a browser tab. But you could search for it with google ;)
certified android tv has chromecast built-in, so you use the same way as with a chromecast.

What is your goal? Do you just want to see the screen to do simple stuff?

I'm afraid you can't just mirror your mac screen. You can mirror a Chrome tab though. Perhaps there is an addon or a tool to mirror your entire screen, but I haven't heard of it.
