N64/Gameboy Emulator with phones for controllers?

by hotwalnut

What's the best way to run a N64/Gameboy/Gamecube/~insert retro games console here~, using multiple mobile phones as controllers?

(Ideally both android/iphone, and easy enough that if I have a guest over it's fairly easy to get their phone hooked up)

I've had a good Google, and can't quite seem to find the perfect set-up!

I'm running a Sony X90E.

If anyone has a decent way of doing this it'd be much appreciated, thanks!

On your X90E, Mario Kart64, you might be able to get split screen 2 player, but I doubt you'll get 3 or 4 way. Using a phone as a game controller is painful and the main reason why android/iOS games arnt kicking Nintendo3DS square in the nuts. You are better off buying some generic Bluetooth controllers.
