Is there a TV app that plays internet videos (youtube, vimeo, etc) continuously, like a TV channel?

Just something to set into the background.

  • Not something that I have to choose channels subscribe to, but a discovery engine. Choosing topics are ok. "Technology" or something.
  • I wanted something like Hopwatch set to reddit r/videos or something, but the lack of autoplay sucks.
  • Closest I found was an app called Neverthink , which, aside from the fact that I feel like I'm in an episode of Black Mirror, works pretty well.

Is there anything similar? Don't care if it's an app, or a kodi extension, etc. It'd be cooler if it played more than youtube (though legally I don't know how that works), or if it just showed trending videos of the day, etc.

I don't know I just put on a YouTube video and have it set to auto play. Just keeps playing videos.

Haystack TV is more focused on news but let's you choose a category and just watch. It pulls videos from YouTube. Not sure if it's available in your country though.

There is an app called SubChannel that integrates reddit with the live channels app. You just put in the subreddits you want and it plays the videos in automatically.

There is a Kodi plugin called PseudoTV that does this with your local media. It will create a fake live-tv interface that you can browse like you would normal cable. I think you can configure it to play youtube videos and such as well as your local media.

EDIT: Ah, I just noticed that you don't want to have to create the playlists itself. This plugin might still help you because I think it it can hook onto various other kodi plugins. It's worth checking out.

If you just pick a video on YouTube it will play all day based on the first video.
