Does this mean there will be a Gamestream servers based in Australia?
Still think they would do better releasing new SKUs at a more average price than focus on expanding locations (especially Australia, where prices are higher to begin with).
Edit: And even though I'm talking business and not hardware, I fully realize the nVidia folks here will be pissed. But following Roku and Amazon would, Imo, be smart. They got the small PC streaming market, why not expand to the larger plain video streaming market?
I can't imagine it will take off unless a big retailer stocks it. Also aren't all the catchup apps still exclusive to Sony's android tv? The average Joe won't want to sideload everything they want.
I think it will be doa unless they sort this out. Apple tv is just a much better buy for everyone.
Now we just need ABC and SBS to give us access to their on demand apps! Casting them is a pain compared to browsing on the TV.
