Had Oreo a few weeks on my shield. HATED the new UI the first day or so. Now I love it. Just didn't know what I was looking at lol.
Have had it on on my Shield & now both of our boxes as of this morning.
In due time, Spanky.
Except the majority of these threads are about PROBLEMS with the update. http://i.imgur.com/PjTQ5FU.gifv
Doesn't really bother me. On the one hand, I'd like to see the new UX. On the other hand, the old UX works just fine, and the new UX dropping means I have to go teach my mother and father how the new one works on their SHIELDs.
try being a nexus owner.
I’ve had Oreo for weeks now. Not sure what you’re talking about xD
Eh? I've had oreo for weeks.
Every mibox owner gets his day
This is me.
Not envious at all /!s
It's better to wait than to have all the glitches us MiBox users now have. Since I updated last night, the only apps I've tried that work are Netflix and Youtube. Hulu endlessly buffers, Plex will show my library but not play any videos from it. I finally got annoyed and went to bed, since Plex is ~90% of what I use mine for.
It shows duplicates sometimes but not that often
I got the beta release on my Shield and that's fine with me. Let them take their time to get the bugs out before releasing the stable version.
I wish the main app ribbon icons were bigger or still two rows. I guess I'm still getting used to the new UI. The background leaves a lot to be desired IMO.
I signed up for the preview program a few days ago and got the update. Is this not the GA build?
Understandable as Shield incorporates not only a streaming device but also advanced gaming and home automation device.
Certain your patience will be rewarded...
Sony Android TV user here, what is an update?
