looks like HDCP issue, which many of the users are facing at the moment. No fixes available for now except to connect directly to the TV and use ARC
ok it looks like the update has borked something that worked in Marshmallow, and whilst soneone will be along shorty to tell me its the fault of anything but the mibox thats not my view based on the evidence i have
having same problem...wish i would read before upgrading...
if you're having issues with HDCP like the other guy said, you could just get an HDMI splitter off Amazon. Obviously this doesn't actually solve the problem (especially if you're using 4k output) but you'd be able to route everything through your amp
I had the same problem. Ended up connecting to a desktop screen, finishing setup, changing resolution. Then reconnected to the amp and it works.
Hope this solves it to you to.
if you have this issue can you PM the make/model of your amp/soundbar and TV please, im trying to see if there's any theme so I can pass thie info onto Xiaomi
Updated via OTA , the box rebooted a few times then went to a blank screen though both the AV amp and TV showed a signal, despite being left for over an hour to settle. Ive factory reset and nothings changed.
next steps - connect to just the TV to see if the update objects to my new(ish) pioneer amp despite working on Marshmallow
Try an update again via the recovery
Blaupunkt makes TV's???
