Looking for a little help with this issue. I can't seem to install apps through the Aptoide TV app. I click install on the app I want, it downloads, but then it just loops back. I think the issue is because Aptoide TV isn't in the list of permissions for Unknown App Source Installation, but I can't seem to add it either. Any tips to get it to show up?

I have same issue on Nexus Player (Android 8.0.0). so I installed ver 4.2.0 and it worked fine ！
How are you downloading it? Through the Mi Box? Do you have access to the APK file on the mi box, and can open it directly on the mi box?
Unless changed, unknown is all unknown. There are not permissions or white list.

I just found a solution. Version 4.2.0 works find on Mi box with Oreo.

We've just released a new version of AptoideTV that should fix the problems that you had with the installation of apps in Android TV Oreo. Just install this new version (

) or open the previous version that you had installed on your device, and wait for the update to pop-up. With this new version you still have to give permissions to AptoideTV.

I installed aptoide tv app on my Mi TV, but not able to search for any app. Not able to select the search option from the bottom menu. always selected home only. I tried but not able.
At the same time I downloaded Airplay DLNA pro and tried to install. When I select the APK, automatically it is asking to install Aptoide app again.
And Also, I go down all the way in the apps section and found the Airplay DLNA app and selected and redirected to new page for the Airplay app and seeing INSTALL button. but when nothing happen when I click okay button on the remote. not able to identify how to install aipaly
