Help me figure out the NordVPN app

I'm new to NordVPN, and VPNs in general. The NordVPN app is kind of odd- I know Nord has a lot of servers in any one region, but it seems like the app only gives you the option to connect to one. It's a bit confusing the way they set it up.

Is there a way to get a list of servers with the app in each region and choose each one accordingly?

Also, the standard OpenVPN app gives per-app VPN selection, and such features as auto-logging into a specific specific server on start up (among other things). Without being able to select VPN by app you have to go back to the software and turn it on and off every time.

I use SmartDNS because I want to access Netflix US and it's just easier. I think you just need to contact their support because they helped me to set it up on my router, and suggested using SmartDNS.

You can, the best way is typing in a country name and adding a number at the end, such as Canada 1 and you should see a list of a lot more servers for just that one country

You can choose the specific server through the search bar in the app.
