Where can I purchase a replacement remote for the U.S (Walmart) MiBox? It's so hard to find one! The one that you can place AAA batteries in, not the chinese version with the quarter size batteries. I'm not to sure if it'll be compatible with the US version.
Why not use one from a different company, I personally use a Minix remote with my MiBox cuz it has the air mouse and a keyboard.
I agree with VampyreLust. You are not limited to only being able to use the standard remote that came with your MiBox. There are many other equally viable alternatives. For me, I'm using the Rii MX6 Wireless Airmouse which has a backlit keyboard and microphone for doing Google voice searches. It does exactly what the original remote does and then some.
There are a lot of alternatives on ebay and aliexpress.Third party cheap 2UDS IR remotes, better looking third party remotes 8-12USD (not sure if they are IR or bluetooth).Original IR remotes about 10USD (with round battery). Original bluetooth, non-voice remotes about 20USD (I have this kind, A year ago it was only 12 USD). And also there is original bluetooth, voice + somatosensory remote that may work also with the international mi box, but not sure.Only that one is not available which came with the international box.
