Download region-specific Android TV apps from Play Store

Hi - I am in Canada and would only see the Android TV apps for the Canadian region; they are very limited. I have a couple of questions:

  1. Would I be able to see and download/install Android TV apps from different regions by VPNing to the different regions?
  2. Is there a non-official repository of Android TV apps from different regions hosted somehwere?

You can generally grab the APKs here: https://www.apkmirror.com/

A VPN won't be enough sadly, you'll also need a Google account based on that region as well.

I use Yalp. Make sure you go in Nvidia settings and allow it to install apps.

Sorry. I used Firefox to find and install. I sideloaded Aptoide TV first, by installing Downloader which installs from Play Store. You can also install Google Drive. This way you can search and find the APK on a phone or tablet and place in G Drive. The choice is yours. Have fun sideloading. Also very good idea install Sideloader from G Play. Don't forget to purchase a good VPN. 😎
