Oreo seems to run great on my Mi Box.

The one weird thing is that when I click on any app on the home screen, instead of just opening the app it brings up a menu that has a couple options with 'open' being the top option. So now instead of just clicking netflix and having it open I have to click the remote twice. Not a huge deal but wondering if there is a way to change that? On the old version it opened right away.
