Whenever I try to change my DNS settings on my Nvidia Shield I lose my internet connection. I’ve tried both through Ethernet and wifi. I live in Iceland and we use playmo.tv to watch things like amazon prime and hulu.
I’ve found no specific fixes that help me.
Change it in your router and return Nvidia back to default settings. If you don't need ipv6, you can disable that in Nvidia. They're still debugging that. Google dns or cloudflare seem to be the best.
Same problem on ATV 7 and 8.
Any reason for not using your router to do this? I have my router supply the IP of my pihole vm as the dns for everything. Ad free living.
I use custom DNS and I have no issues.
I'm seeing the same I just went from Google DNS to OpenDNS I also posted an issue about not being able to download from the play store after using any VPN I wonder if this somehow connected. I wish I back to experience 6.3 and stay there.
