I had it too, after my mibox updated, everything is bugged, can't access my pendrive and every time I tried to change volume, my tv showed monit, tyat such option is not available. After turning all cec options volume problem stoped, but i still can't access my pendrive. How to roll back?
Why do you want it off. It’s great. One less remote.
This is driving me nuts. The volume works on the miibox alone for youtube, but not at all for kodi. I can play one file with sound via kodi but the next has no sound at all unless I reboot (correction: reboot multiple times). Everything worked perfectly before the damn update.
Your mi box remote is Bluetooth. Does your TV have a Bluetooth remote also? Is it paired with your TV?
If your TV doesn't have Bluetooth then there is some confusion, as the Mi Box remote (that came with your box) is not IR.
It's a feature of CEC.
Turn off all CEC settings then make sure to restart the mi box.
