It didn't do that for me, maybe it's region based?
Yeah, I got a load of them but most didn't appear in my list of apps despite being installed and enabled - presumably this was just because some are aimed at certain markets.
I just disabled the ones I didn't want which also included a load of foreign keyboards.
Happened to me too. Not cool. I had to disable each of them. They were preinstalled when I bought it too but I was able to uninstall.
I simply disabled and uninstalled updates. It still uses some space, but not much. It also hides the crap. Just make sure you also force stop after the uninstall updates and that it is still disabled, else it will reinstall the bloatware updates again (and use more valuable space).
On a side note, I wish manufacturers would stop wasting space with permanent bloatware.
Annoying. Clear the data before and after you disable it. Won't take up hardly any space and shouldn't be noticeable.
Disable is your only option unless you want to root.
My guess is they all paid a little money to Xiaomi to be included in the base image. This is nothing new so don't go blaming Xiaomi for this. If you buy a Samsung or LG android phone you get preinstalled apps just the same. In theory it's supposed to help lower the cost of the phone to the end user but in reality it's so they can pad their pockets.
