I've updated to Oreo, and noticed that media with DTS sounds are now being transcoded when watching from Plex android app. MiBox is connected with HDMI to my Samsung TV. I've tried setting the profile to unlimited, passthrough to on/off but it doesn't help. If i turn on surround to always it works but then I do not hear main channels properly. When i watch media in Plex addon in Kodi 17.6 it works fine, no transcoding. This didn't happen in 6.0.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
I already posted this on the first day the oreo was rolled out.
Apart from my friend and you, no one else seems to have this problem.

No solution there tho. You can try switch the audio from auto >> surround. The MiBox will no longer transcode but for me and my friend, the sound is super weird. It's like only ambient sound of the movie comes thru and the main vocal was removed nearly completely.
As I have 3 Mi Box, right now I have to use Kodi on the oreo one. While other 2 still stick with Android M.
