I got the normally recommended ugreen adapter and it works flawlessly. Just plugged it into the missing box, Ethernet cable in, no issues at all. No installation etc. Required.

I have 2 Ugreen usb 3.0 (x3) to ethernet. Both work great with my 2 Mibox (oreo).

Updated to oreo and now works.

Still doesn’t connect. Do I need to connect the windows first time and install something?

Get the ugreen 3.0 adapter. It works flawlessly plug and play.

I ordered the official Xiaomi one awhile back on eBay for about $8 w/free shipping. Took a bit to get here, but it works perfectly and survived the Oreo update without issues.

yes, and i just got mine yesterday (ugreen usb 2.0 10/100) and works great on oreo. gigabit too overkill imo
