That's maybe the best price for a new model I've seen. If you have been on the fence looking at the Shield TV, you should definitely bite on this one.
Great price on this box. For heavy 4k or gaming usage, this is the box to get.

At this point, surely you wait for a Tegra X2 box with updated codec support.
The X1 just has to many gaps in its HDR support for such a premium unit (Apple 4k also).

Unless they've made some hardware revisions, that remote is pretty terrible even with the latest software updates. I've gone through all the troubleshooting steps on their site and it's still super laggy. I can use the game controller and have no problems at all. Ended up buying a Logitech Harmony Touch remote & hub (hub is needed to control the 2017 Shield TV as it has no IR) and that setup is working great for me.
