Mi TV auto updated to 8.0.0 and now audio stops working randomly and I have to reset it?

Anyone else experiencing this and have a workaround?

I experienced this on one of my Mi Boxes, a factory reset should do the trick.

I had this happen on mine after the 8.0 update - turns out it was breaking when the mi box went to sleep.  Disabling sleep solved it for me.

Welcome to the boat. The sound of mine doesn't work at all for days by now, I'm waiting for the fix that's supposed to be released this week.

Happens on mine as well a reboot fixes it, too lazy to do a factory reset.

Thank God I wasn't the only one. If I disable sleep will I still get the slideshow when MiBox is not in use? Hopefully an update will be out soon
