I got the Oreo update on one of my Mi Boxes about a week and a half ago. The other one has not gotten it. When I do a check for updates, it says that it is up to date. Is there any way to force it?

It's halted while they fix bugs.
If you search this subreddit you will find the ota.zip and instructions on how to sideload it, but I would just wait while they iron out the bugs imo.
Just wait for it to come officially unless you wanna use it as paperweight.
I haven't had many issues but it only reads certain types of hard drives so I had to reformat a spare one.
And it keeps flashing in the to right hand side no WiFi while I'm watching Netflix through my WiFi.
So I really wouldn't update yet....
I don't why you want it, the Oreo update is terrible.

I'll trade you, I really wish I could downgrade. Oreo has made my Mi Box pretty much unusable.
