I recently installed an Arlo Pro camera system in my home. It's supposed to work with the nvidia shield, which we also have, but I can't figure out what or how? Can any of you point me in the right direction? Will it only work with the google assistant, and not natively with the shield?
Based on other services I've used with my shield (smartThings, Ecobee, etc.) my guess is you have to pair your Arlo account with your Google Assistant on your phone first. (You'll have to research the specifics of how to pair it.) Then you should be able to tell your Assistant on the Shield something like "show front door on the living room TV." It'll see your shield a chromecast device, so you don't really need an app or anything like that. It'll just play from your cam to your TV like any other video stream.
