HopWatch for Reddit updated - trial period demo link

by UgglyNoodle

I just released an update for my Android TV app, HopWatch for Reddit . With HopWatch you can browse subreddits and view image, GIF and video posts. HopWatch also has a home screen channel for devices running Oreo.

The new update brings the ability to zoom in on tall images, which makes reading /r/polandball comics possible on TV. The update also has several usability and design improvements.

To promote the update, I wanted to share a free trial period demo. You can download the APK here . (If you're not familiar with sideloading APKs onto your Android TV, here are a couple of guides: link 1 , link 2 .)

I'd love to hear your feedback and feature requests.

HopWatch is GREAT. I'm a big fan and I use it on a near daily basis. Thank you for making it.

Can we purchase this directly from you? I would like to sideload it on my firetv. Or will there be a version available for firetv users?

Any way to log into YouTube on Hopwatch? I have YouTube Red, but I get ads when watching videos. I used to get around it by uninstalling YouTube updates, but now that MiBox updated, the workaround doesn't work.

Cool app, i like it, i like that it can be fully operated with remote.

Question: how much will last the trial period?

Hey I really love this app. Use it pretty much every day, and I paid for it. One feature request, and I know it's kind of a big one. Any way to display comments on a submission? I don't really expect to be able to reply to the comments, but I love to see the discussion around submissions so it helps to fill out the picture and see what people are saying.

can you make the apk work on fire tv too?

ftv doesn't have yt now so you can use https://smartyoutubetv.github.io/en/ to launch the videos but for example neverthink (app) works well without yt app

I am unable to filter out subreddits... Is this feature broken?
