i "destroyed" that banner by decompiling and modifying the apk :)
I have a sideloaded app, "Smart Youtube TV", and it doesn't have that banner, but it does have an exit confirmation that can be a bit annoying. For the rest is mostly the same as the normal Youtube app, I only use it because for some reason it doesn't show ads even though that's not listed as a feature (I read that 3rd party Youtube apps like Newpipe can't show ads because of the Youtube API, not sure if that's true for android TV).
