Please state make and model and year of your tv
disconnect power from both devices wait 30 minutes try power on with and without hdmi connected alternate powering on each device first should br 4 variations to test

I had to mess with the audio settings on the Mi Box to fix mine. I think I had to turn off Dolby. Be sure to force stop and restart Netflix app between changes.
Jesus, this fucking box. Netflix only works now after restarting. It doesn't matter what the sound settings are.
I just checked and I had to set surround sound to Off to not get that error in Netflix. I set it to Auto and the error returned. So it seems only turning off surround sound fixes the issue.
I was hoping last weeks update fixed the issue, but it seems it did not.
